Better water was personal before it was a product.
We started The Pore Studio because the people we live with were paying for the water coming out of their showerhead — in shedding hair, in itchy skin, in serums that never quite worked.
WHY WE BUILT THIS
It started in our own showers.
Hair washing down the drain. Skin tight after every shower. Routines that worked at a friend's apartment but not in our own bathrooms. We kept blaming the cleanser, the climate, the season — until we tested the water.
What came back from the lab was the answer we'd been chasing for years. Chlorine, hardness minerals, sediment. The kind of water you can technically drink, doing slow damage every day to the part of you most exposed to it.
